We showed them what our goal was, and Origin Films jumped on with ideas right away. We had a meeting to present them the creative, after which they started the storyboards.

They pitched a visual, high-energetic animation style. They found ways to take our creative, pull it apart, and put it back together again, so that it would flow in a video. We went to brand approval from there.

The moment we had the kickoff meeting, we were all brainstorming ideas. I’ve worked with many creative agencies, and it’s always different. With Origin Films, I felt we were all on the same page right off the bat. 

I like to be involved in these projects, because I’ve worked on lots of them, and I enjoy the creative element of video production and marketing. Origin Films had great ideas, and I knew they’d be the right fit from the beginning.

This is one of their strong points. Kristina always kept in touch. We had quite a complicated brand process, and there were a couple of times when we had to tweak the creative to something that was previously approved. 

Because we were using creative and not shooting live action or animation, and because of the nature of the material, the videos were put together in 4/3. Our social team told us that they really needed 16/9. We had a five-minute call with Origin Films, and they came back with some options.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Origin Films definitely stands out in terms of quality. This was a unique project, and Origin Films was able to take static images and bring them to life over 15–20 frames. It almost looked like it was planned. They essentially back-engineered a way to take a static image and bring it to life. I’d not seen that done before.

No ! they are highly recommendable.

Throughout the entire process, we also had a lot of Zoom meetings and emails, as well as a live video call that was amazing during the photo shoot. We observed the entire process at the location Origin Films leased to us, including the positions of the models, cameras, drones, and other equipment.

Everything was fast-tracked beginning literally on day 1. We made a sales call laying out our vision of the project and within days we had a complete quote. Having agreed to continue, we attended a kickoff meeting at the Origin Films offices where we were greeted warmly by the project manager working with the creative director and some of crew. They really put a high bar up for how professional this project should have started out! Delivering exciting footage to our training specifications for future networking needs

What we found far exceeded anything that we expected. The footage we filmed serves as a building block in many of the other projects we follow-up on, which are in dozens. It is consistently identified by our client as the best visual content their organization has ever seen in terms of beauty and effectiveness. It is so rewarding to see the impacts of our collective work!

Origin Films intervened and started working closely with us on our picture and video projects. The fact that our first endeavor together was completely remote made it especially difficult. GB Digital LLC has its headquarters in New York, but we had to shoot in Los Angeles for the project, where we lacked the necessary resources. Origin Films made it easy by putting us in touch with a very talented local crew. From pre-production preparation to actual filming, which entailed collaborating with two prominent celebrity ambassadors, they were involved in every aspect of the project. It was genuinely amazing how well they were able to handle the logistical and creative aspects while working remotely.

There are two main ways that this collaboration has been successful. First of all, the client was overjoyed with the finished item.
