Their PR effects have been very impactful and helped create more awareness of the brand in the market, we've had a mix of design, industry and lifestyle titles write positive reviews of the hotel.

I worked with Palm whilst at a beverage company making adult soft drinks including live sodas and kombucha as the Marketing Manager.

Palm was hired as a retained food PR agency to conduct consumer and trade PR outreach and manage a series of campaigns to promote the brand and various NPD.

We selected Palm following researching PR agencies and going through a competitive pitch process.

The SOW was to raise brand awareness, support different drink products, NPD press releases, news stories, and ongoing consumer and trade press and influencer relations, both reactive and proactive outreach.

We worked with an account team ranging from Account Executive to Associate Director, all of whom were a pleasure to deal with and worked as an extension of our team.

Palm has a strong industry knowledge of the food, drink and hospitality sectors. They helped us to achieve cut through with impressive press coverage in key consumer media titles, particularly at seasonal moments which were key for us, such as Dry January.

Palm were engaged with our business objectives. They worked seamlessly with our in-house team and shared a clear week by week timeplan. The team kept us constantly updated via both personal phone calls, meetings and regular reporting and in-the-know about all of the press and influencer outreach. Palm outlined clear results that were measured on a quarterly basis and aligned with our target demographics.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way the team just drove everything forward and got on with the job in hand to generate the right media results for the business. They were clear communicators and kept the campaign moving at a great pace.

Palm have exceeded their KPI target of 30 coverage points, generating 39 coverage points. Highlights include coverage two pieces in Metro print and online, two pieces on Daily Mirror as well as coverage in the Daily Express and on the website of Hello! Magazine.

We have monthly video call meetings to cover the monthly KPIs and targets for the following month. Weekly summary emails are also sent out every Friday along with any major updates throughout the week.

Their measurement system indicates a very clear campaign structure and outcome. The team reported to us regularly.

For the initial project, our objective was to raise awareness and the profile of our brand, showcasing how we are a challenger to traditional baking mixes.

They achieved high profile Business press coverage including a large feature in London Evening Standard as well as Trade coverage in The Grocer Magazine and other key grocery Trade titles.

It provided a strong platform for telling our story as an independent brand. We have worked with them again following the success of the initial project.

Palm prides itself on laying out results upfront and giving transparency on the timeline and regular reporting on the campaign progress.

Efficiency and professionalism when communicating with us and having a clear list of KPIs.
