Platanor is an embedded engineering team. We design and develop secure-by-design IoT and embedded products for manufacturers, and we build them, hands-on, all the way from the board to the firmware. No slide decks, no outsourced advice: engineers who have shipped secure industrial controllers, security keys, and low-power connected devices into real production.

We treat every project as a complete device ecosystem: firmware, security architecture, provisioning, backend integration, and companion apps working as one coherent system. Security is the foundation we start from, through threat modeling and a clear security architecture, before a single line of production code is written.

Because security is engineered in from day one, EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance follows as a result, not a last-minute scramble. The CRA now covers virtually every connected product with digital elements sold in the EU, unless it already falls under a sector-specific regime like medical devices, automotive, or aviation. We make sure yours is ready at the level that actually matters: the design itself.
