I am the Digital Marketing Executive at The Celtic Collection, a family of distinct business and leisure brands based in Wales, UK and I am the client lead on this project.

For what projects/services did your company hire Propeller, and what were your goals?

Our collection of brands had expanded and outgrown its current domain/CMS/booking tool. We wanted to further establish the online presence of The Celtic Collection and better compete within our sector. Our existing setup could not accommodate our goals and is the reason we sought a new solution.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Propeller had pitched for a different project in past and they came to mind when we set out on this project, also following much research, their portfolio and positive recommendations from others.

There have been clear and thorough steps during our working relationship with Propeller. In the initial phase, we had discovery meetings with their business advisor to discuss our business requirements, challenges and ideal outcomes. We then worked with the senior designer and project manager during the wireframe and design stages, the project manager during launch and our account manager for any post-launch actions and support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Although the project is ongoing, the results from the business and our audiences have been positive. The results from this project have allowed us to be so much more flexible and impactful in the way we present and sell our brands. Thus far, we have seen increased sessions and a more dynamic user-experience.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We primarily use Basecamp as our means of communication with Propeller. Given the size of the project, I found this to be a really effective way to ensure all interactions were transparent and reactive. Propeller have always responded promptly which has been hugely appreciated, especially when we have been working on simultaneous projects.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Definitely Propeller's ability to adapt. Being a hospitality brand enduring the pandemic has meant things change direction very quickly! Propeller have always been incredibly accommodating in this respect.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During the initial discovery phase it took a while to get on the same page, which caused a slight delay but once that was competently worked through, it's been a really pleasurable experience working with everyone at Propeller.
