They perform very well. We are comfortable having QubStudio communicate with our clients, and they are professional and timely with their work.

What distinguishes QubStudio from other providers?

Before QubStudio, we worked mostly with freelancers. It's very hard to organize and manage a team of designers, but they do quite well. They have very good designers on staff, and we definitely prefer working with a company because they are truly a team.

Is there anything QubStudio could have improved or done differently?

I think designers always take too much time to develop a design, so I would be happy if they could do it faster. It's OK for now, but they can always improve.

You Team is a digital product development consultancy based in London with offices in Amsterdam and Ukraine. We leverage our network of development and design houses to build and deliver an end product for our client.

I am one of three partners. I work with our vendors and providers, mainly engineers and design studios.

What business challenge were you trying to address with QubStudio?

We first used QubStudio to design our website, marketing materials and logo. We now use them as a key partner for user experience and graphic design services that we offer to our clients.

About 80 percent of the services they provide for us are user-experience related. Of these interaction design services, it is split evenly between mobile and web platform work.

How did you come to work with QubStudio?

I have known QubStudio for about eight or nine years. They designed some graphic stuff for me before I founded my current company.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We have done more than 20 projects with QubStudio, totaling somewhere around $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have an ongoing engagement with them. They maintain our site and are currently working on some graphic materials that we are using for our marketing. We also have a couple projects with our clients that QubStudio will be involved with on the design end.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

We launched our new website at the end of February [2016] and our conversion dropped. During the next two months, we implemented a series of updates and tweaks and are now seeing 15 leads per month compared to zero.

How did QubStudio perform from a project management standpoint?

QubStudio performed well and delivered on time. I don't have any critiques for them in this area. The main reason that I continue to work with them is because of the quality of their design. Their quality is indisputably high and, sometimes, we are willing to sacrifice some time for the sake of getting a better result.

What distinguishes QubStudio from other providers?

Quality, first of all. From the quality perspective, QubStudio is unrivaled compared to other Ukrainian studios and probably all studios in the region. They are definitely above the level of most agencies.

Is there anything QubStudio could have improved or done differently?

This is hard to say because I'm not very involved in the design side of the business, but we've been satisfied with everything so far.

My partner and I had an idea for an app that helps dentists organize their patients, schedule appointments, track the history of patients, and save patient photos online.

We hired QubStudio to develop a mobile and web application. They did all of the development and played a huge role in the design as well. My cofounder and I are dentists, so we communicated our ideas to their team and asked them to implement them as they saw fit. They did everything from logo design to software development to launching it in the Apple Store.

How did you come to work with QubStudio?

We are located in the same city as QubStudio, and they are well known in our region. I looked up some companies on the Internet, and they were the most highly recommended by my friends and colleagues. We also visited their headquarters before we agreed to work with them. We wanted to see the team and the facilities, and we were quite satisfied with it.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The project was about $15,000 overall.

What is the status of this engagement?

The application is launched, but is in the beta testing stage. We are still working on some development improvements.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The app has been downloaded by 600 users thus far. We have seen some very positive reviews from people that say the app is easy to use and much less complex than similar products that are on the market. We also have a few "early adopters" who we have given extended access to in order to find things that could be improved and any bugs that we have. Overall, the reactions have been positive.

How did QubStudio perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a project manager who was responsible for communicating the appropriate tasks to the designers and developers. He sent us reports as work was completed, and we communicated regularly over Skype, email, and trailer software. We were satisfied with the deadlines and general process of the project management.

What distinguishes QubStudio from other providers?

One of their very strong points is the design component. We really liked the ideas they had from a design and user experience perspective. They are also very modern, and we got the impression that they are very good at keeping up with technological trends. It was clear that the QubStudio team was dedicated and involved in the project, beyond just developing the code. They were very interested and shared their ideas and input, which we appreciated.

Is there anything QubStudio could have improved or done differently?

My partner and I were rather unfamiliar with how long the development process was going to take, so we felt that the application could have been completed faster. However, they declared a deadline and finished their work on time, so there is not much I can complain about.

Based on this, they proposed concepts to refine the existing logo and brand color, enriching the system with new visual elements, additional colors, and a slightly updated version of the logo — all while maintaining its strong recognizability and continuity.

Although the primary focus remained on the logo, their approach was holistic, ensuring scalability and consistency across the entire system. The new elements complemented the logo seamlessly and integrated smoothly into the established club style.

The central idea was embodied through the image of a finish line, naturally resonating with a running club and the theme of sporting races. An additional accent color provided a unique distinction from competitors and further strengthened brand recognition.

The central idea was embodied through a semi-circle at the center of the logo, which scales and allows elements to integrate and create complex visual compositions. It symbolizes unity, trust, and continuity, reflecting our people-centered philosophy. The refreshed color palette conveys calm confidence and global reach, while the structured graphics and typography bring clarity and precision. Together, these elements strengthened brand recognition, improved visual consistency across touchpoints, and fully supported our strategic objectives.

The project unfolded in a structured three-phase approach, starting with onboarding and research. Qubstudio began by conducting strategic sessions and stakeholder interviews to fully understand our business objectives, priorities, and target audiences. Workshops with our internal team allowed for alignment on vision and expectations. StoryBrand workshops helped structure communication for future marketing and website strategy, ensuring that all messaging would resonate with our audiences.

In the second phase, Qubstudio transitioned to the branding refresh. They developed two brand refresh concepts, exploring variations in logo, color palette, typography, and supporting visual elements. They defined the brand’s tone of voice and core messaging, while producing key collateral materials such as social media posts, banners, and merchandise. 

The final phase focused on creating a Brand Book, which documented the correct usage of logos, colors, fonts, and other visual elements. As a result, we achieved a cohesive visual identity, enriched with unique complementary elements, including the updated logo and new graphic accents, which preserved the core idea, values, and continuity of the brand. The refreshed identity strengthened brand recognition, ensured visual consistency across all touchpoints, and fully supported our strategic objectives.
