We're a B2B service aimed at acquiring clean web data for products, businesses, and so on. We provide a structured database that is easy to access.

What is your position?

I am the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with Renovatio Cloud?

As part of our operations, we need to pull and scrape data from the web. This process requires crawls based on templates. We needed extra developer capacity in order to do this quickly and efficiently.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in greater detail.

They work within our internal framework, which is based on a JavaScript library. Renovatio Cloud builds individual crawlers for us based on our specifications for different types of data needed. Each specification is sent to a developer, built and tested.

How did you come to work with Renovatio Cloud?

They reached out to me initially. We decided to work together, and it turned out very well.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

Our monthly development cost is $16,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Renovatio Cloud a year ago. Our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

We measure performance based on the quality of the data coming back from the crawlers, as well as the turnaround time for each crawler. We've set gradually declining goals for turnaround time. At the beginning of the year, the set goal was for five days. It has gone down to four days, and will continue to decrease. Renovatio Cloud has been able to meet these requirements well and the quality of their data has met our thresholds.

How did Renovatio Cloud perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is very responsive; we have no complaints. We communicate through a Slack channel, and have weekly conference calls in order to check on statuses and assigned work. There's never been a delay in their response.

What distinguishes Renovatio Cloud from other providers?

We have a close relationship with some of their team members. It's easy to talk with them and address any speed bumps that may come up.

There has been some staff turnover simply due to people advancing their career, but they've been able to bring in new developers without a dip in productivity.

Is there anything Renovatio Cloud could have improved or done differently?

Not really.
