The scope of work included developing AI and ML solutions for class monitoring system, data analysis, predictive modeling and hardware integration. Here are some of the key technologies commonly used:

1. Computer Vision and AI: Computer vision algorithms, powered by AI, monitor students during classes. Facial recognition, eye tracking, and head position detection help ensure students are attentive and present. 
2. Machine Learning Algorithms / Predictive modeling: ML models look for patterns in student behavior, engagement, and performance. These algorithms can spot unusual behavior and give insights into how well students are learning.
Predictive modelling involves:

• Collecting data: Gathering the necessary information to make predictions.
• Building a model: Creating a formula that uses the collected data to predict results.
• Making predictions: Using the model to guess what will happen in the future.
• Validating or revising: Updating the model as new data comes in to keep it accurate.

3. Hardware Devices & Interfacing: Cameras record live video of students during classes to ensure their presence and focus. DVRs store these recordings, so the videos can be easily accessed and played back when needed. 
Together, cameras and DVRs help monitor the class in real time, record sessions, and securely store the footage. In addition, IR sensors are used at the entry gate to count the number of students entering and exiting, helping track the number of students who have entered and left the class. 
PIR sensors are used for motion detection, allowing the system to detect any movement (such as students moving around in the classroom) and monitor their activities. And this data is collected through IoT, which we then transfer to our software for analysis and monitoring.

The output of this project can be summarized in simple steps as:

1. Track Student Presence: The system automatically tracks when students enter and leave the class using IR sensors at the entry gate.
2.  Monitor Engagement: Cameras monitor students' attention and participation during the class to ensure they are focused.
3. Detect Motion: PIR sensors detect any unusual movement, like a student leaving the seat or moving away from the screen.
4. Store Data: All data, including attendance and class activity, is stored safely and can be accessed later.
5. Provide Reports: The system generates student attendance, participation, and engagement levels reports.
6. Predict Trends: AI models analyze the data to predict student performance and identify areas for improvement.
7. Review Sessions: Teachers or administrators can review recorded sessions to check for any issues or performance patterns.

In short, the system helps track, monitor, and improve student engagement and class management in a simple and efficient way.
