Our small business invested roughly $10k in Salezilla’s email marketing services, and in 6 months, they delivered absolutely zero leads—not one lead, qualified or unqualified. The experience was nothing short of frustrating and scammy.

Their team was not proactive in the slightest; we constantly had to chase them for updates on their progress. Worse, they refused to use the copy we provided, which was tailored to our audience. Instead, they insisted on using their so-called "foolproof" script, which Doug Tanner claimed would guarantee results. We repeatedly told them we knew our buyers and that the script wouldn’t work. Despite this, they refused to make adjustments, sticking with their ineffective approach for months. Unsurprisingly, it produced no results.

Scheduling meetings with Doug was another nightmare. He's never available for more than a week out, and his day apparently starts at 4:30 PM EST, which is when ours ends. He was not willing to make time during normal business hours on East Coast time—even when we were on the verge of canceling our contract, and a meeting would have been in his best interest.

Additionally, all the work appeared to be outsourced overseas with no native English speakers involved, further exacerbating the quality of copywriting.

We feel utterly scammed. Salezilla’s lack of accountability, rigid approach, and inability to deliver on their promises gives them 0 stars in my book. Avoid at all costs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They were supposed to generate leads for us. In 6 months, they generated 0 leads.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They did not deliver on time. They responded to our needs only through WhatsApp - scheduling a call was a major headache. The assigned project manager was over 30 minutes late to one call and didn't even apologize. Scheduling with the owner Doug, who promised he would be accessible to us throughout our project was a nightmare. His meetings had to be scheduled over a week out, and started when our East Coast day ended.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What's impressive is how much they can BS their way through a failling project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Salezilla could have done differently?

They promised results but didn't deliver them. They promised accessibility but we didn't get that either. They promised we could tailor messages, but they refuesd to use our copy. This project was a total waste of our time and budget. We lost 6 months and $10k doing business with this company.
