What challenge were you trying to address with Scarfaze?

We needed help developing a dedicated music platform for our company. The main goal was to create a seamless, user-friendly platform that allows users to discover, stream, and engage with our music content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Scarfaze has handled the end-to-end development of our music platform. Their work has included designing and implementing the UI/UX, building a robust backend to support music streaming, storage, and management, integrating features like playlists, search, and user accounts, ensuring cross-platform compatibility, and testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth performance.

We started working with them in December 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Scarfaze has made steady progress toward the full launch of our platform and additional features. They’ve implemented the core backend and frontend components, and the platform is running smoothly in the current testing and staging environments. The architecture is designed to support future growth in users and content.

Moreover, pages and music streams load within 2–3 seconds on average. Test users have created over 150 playlists and streamed more than 1,200 tracks during staging. Search queries return results in under 1 second, and the platform uptime in testing environments has been 99.8%.

Users appreciate the clean and intuitive interface. Features like playlists, search, and music streaming are working smoothly. Performance and loading times have been well-received.

How did Scarfaze perform from a project management standpoint?

Scarfaze has demonstrated organized and efficient project management throughout our collaboration. They maintain clear communication, provide regular updates, and are proactive in addressing issues. While the project is ongoing, all milestones achieved so far have been delivered on time.

In addition to the core development, Scarfaze has provided free web hosting and supported the project with PR and media exposure at no extra cost, which has greatly helped in promoting the platform and increasing visibility. We communicate via email and messages.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While our experience with Scarfaze has been largely positive, a few areas could be enhanced. More frequent progress updates in the early stages could have helped in planning better. Additional early-stage user feedback integration might have accelerated some feature refinements.

Moreover, a slightly faster turnaround on minor design tweaks could have improved efficiency. Expanded documentation for some backend features would make future maintenance easier. Overall, these are minor points, and the team has been very responsive and professional throughout the project.
