Shift8 Web supported a large-scale redesign and redevelopment initiative for our public-facing website. 
The project involved discovery, information architecture, UX/UI design, custom development, CMS implementation, accessibility considerations, performance optimization, analytics setup, and migration planning. We also needed the new platform to support multiple internal stakeholders, more complex content workflows, and future growth without becoming difficult to maintain.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered improvements across both marketing and operational metrics. We saw stronger page speed scores, better engagement on key landing pages, and more efficient lead routing after launch. From an internal standpoint, publishing became much easier and governance improved because content responsibilities were clearer. The overall quality of the site is simply much higher than what we had before.

They ran the project with a good balance of structure and flexibility. There were regular check-ins, clear action items, and no ambiguity around next steps. They were dependable with deadlines and transparent when something required discussion or a decision. That consistency made a complex project much easier to manage.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their strength is that they understand both strategy and execution. They can talk through user journeys, content structure, and conversion goals, but they can also get into the technical details without losing momentum. That combination was valuable for us because this was not a simple design exercise. It required real depth.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Shift8 Web could have done differently?

The only area I would mention is that on a project of this size, even more formalized documentation during certain phases would have helped with internal alignment on our side. That said, the team was highly responsive and worked through feedback well. I would still rate the experience very positively."

We brought Shift8 Web in for a website refresh that was focused on improving credibility, clarifying our services, and making the site easier to manage. It was not a huge enterprise build, but it was important to us because our website had become inconsistent over time. 
They handled design updates, front-end development, page template cleanup, mobile optimization, and some basic SEO improvements. They also reorganized our navigation and helped simplify the content structure.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site feels much stronger from a brand perspective, and that has translated into better engagement. We saw an increase in form submissions and more time spent on our service pages. Mobile performance also improved, which mattered because a large percentage of our visitors come from phones. On the admin side, our team spends far less time fighting with the CMS.

They were reliable and easy to work with. Timelines were realistic, and they stayed on schedule. When we had feedback or needed changes, they responded quickly and did not make the process feel heavy. It felt like they understood that smaller teams still need good process, just without the bureaucracy.

They were very practical. We never felt like they were trying to overcomplicate the project or sell us something beyond what we needed. They listened, made thoughtful recommendations, and executed cleanly. That kind of straightforward approach is harder to find than it should be.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Shift8 Web could have done differently?

Very few complaints. There were a couple of points during content review where we could have used a bit more guidance around best practices, but once we asked, they were helpful. I would absolutely work with them again.
