What was the scope of their involvement?
Signature Video Group works with us on parts of the video production process. They come up with the creative aspects of video production, such as working on the conceptualization and understanding the visualization needs of the project.
Our projects usually begin with the ideation of what the video should look like and understanding what our customer has in mind. We then come back to the customer with creative ideas, suggestions, and recommendations.
After that, we begin scripting and storyboarding the concept. We then produce and develop the assets required. This involves shooting the video and putting together everything. We then work on postproduction and get the video ready for the customer, who will then give the final approval for the deliverable. The videos we produce are typically between 60–120 seconds long for corporate and brand awareness videos.

The quality of Signature Video Group’s work is great. We’ve received great feedback from our customers on the videos we’ve done together. Overall, the team has been amazing. Our customers truly appreciate the creativity and quality delivered to them. We’ve also appreciated the ease with which the production process has been done, considering that production processes are complex.

Their project management has been great, and they communicate well with us. Our team follows strict timelines and provides time estimates to our customers. We’ve always met those estimates with Signature Video Group’s help; we haven’t had to ask for extensions. On top of that, we’ve always stayed within our budget.

The amount of creativity they bring to the table is one of their greatest strengths. After working with them for some time, their creativity has become even better. Our collaboration has become much smoother, and their creative work is better than ever.

No, there aren’t any.

Understand that good creative work comes with a price. Besides that, reach out to Signature Video Group when you have time to spend on the creative process. This process requires time, and it doesn’t happen overnight. Given that, it’s best to contact them when you have some buffer time — reach out to them earlier than later.

The videos were recently launched, and our end client saw a significant rise in brand awareness. Since its launch, the video has had thousands of views, and Signature Video Group’s work was top-notch. Finding a partner that could produce the desired results in the required timeframe was pretty refreshing.

We communicated well, and Signature Video Group stayed within the budget we had agreed on. We had several verbal communications, and Signature Video Group was on the same page as us very quickly. We also communicated through phone calls, email, and Zoom calls.

I recommend potential customers focus on the product’s quality rather than the project’s price. When we’re looking for premium products, sometimes we get hung up on the price, but at the end of the day, the results will show that we chose the correct route.

We wanted to engage in social media advertising, including video. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

We hired Signature Video Group to assist us in creating video content that we could utilize for social media and advertising on our website and YouTube. 

Right from the first meeting, the team demonstrated creativity and enthusiasm toward the work. We expressed our interest in utilizing social media advertising to promote our new artificial grass. Our latest product is noteworthy because it always stays up and lush all the time despite high volumes of foot traffic. 

Our objective was to develop videos to show that we have the best and most luxurious grass in the market. They then came back to us with initial ideas. We agreed that they would deliver four different completed videos, all shot simultaneously. 

After approving their ideas, the team came to our location for the two-day shoot. We were fortunate to have all the required artificial grass onsite. They brought their equipment and efficiently carried out the video shoot. They then handled all the editing and visual effects at their office. 

They sent us the videos for our feedback and suggestions throughout the video creation process. After some back and forth, we received the final product. They delivered four videos, some bonus footage, and an FAQ video. 

We are currently working on the second phase of the project.

The team stays within the budget as planned, and there aren't any unexpected costs. For the video project, they provided a schedule outlining the project stages and successfully adhered to it. In terms of communication, we held several in-person meetings, as well as scheduled Zoom meetings and phone calls.

We are thoroughly impressed with their creativity on this project. We gave them creative freedom, and they delivered something exceptional. The videos the team created are genuinely unique and innovative. They surpassed our expectations.

Signature Video Group created a series of masterclass-style interviews with our customers. We didn’t write a script, but we sat down and talked through the flow of the series, the key points we wanted to hit, and the storyline. We worked closely to ensure we were aligned on the final outcome. 

The team shot on location with our clients. They brought their own equipment and filmed our customers discussing their career evolution, business challenges, and how they solved them. They added intro and outro music to the videos and created minor animations, including the video’s key points. They ultimately delivered three 15–20 minute videos.

Signature Video Group was amazing with project deadlines and staying on budget. They drove the project and sent me reminders about deadlines. The team executed everything exactly how we wanted. 

Additionally, they constantly kept in touch with me via phone, Slack, and email. They shared regular updates and made quick accommodations when we requested things outside the original project scope. Signature Video Group even brought water to the on-location shoots, which was amazing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

Our client wanted to celebrate 25 years in business. In particular, we had to produce a founder’s story video that followed the CEO’s journey from day one and the successes in the last 25 years in a documentary style.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We got the brief from the client. When we started to engage with Signature Video Group, we discussed and scrutinized the brief to see the best way to bring it to life. The audience would be internal because the video would be used as part of an internal event. Signature Video Group was comfortable with the project, and they gave us many ideas to put everything together.

We coordinated the teams, and they worked with us to create the documents and determine the direction and narrative of the video. They were heavily involved in creating the brief, and once we were happy, we met with the clients.

Signature Video Group did all the filming according to the agreed document; it was a two-day shoot. Then, they had 10 days to combine the footage and edit the video. They previewed it exclusively with us before the client saw it. We made a few tiny tweaks, and then shared it with the client.

The client referred Signature Video Group, so we contacted them. They were a great fit for this piece of work from a production and creative perspective. As soon as we got on the call with them, we knew they were a trusted and talented partner.

Additionally, they were close to the locations where we needed to film. Since we were in the UK, we couldn’t support the whole production crew or go over.

They had excellent ideas on the content that would elevate the final output. Moreover, they were fully committed to getting the footage that the client wanted. For example, they went to the location at 5:30 a.m. to shoot the sunrise and got some incredible shots.

Overall, the video was very well received. The initial feedback from the client’s senior leadership was overwhelmingly positive, and it also went well with our internal colleagues. When we shared the video with the clients, they were absolutely blown away by Signature Video Group’s work. The team got the best from the CEO, so the final product was authentic. All in all, the whole process was right from the onset, and it was a great partnership.

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was excellent. They were very conscientious about the shoots; the team was on time and had a good rapport with the client, which was vital. Since we weren’t present, we had to trust them to deliver, and they did a great job. Overall, they exceeded expectations, met all deadlines, and kept within the budget.

We communicated via Zoom, phone calls, and emails due to the geographical distance.

I’m responsible for event production at a member-based organization in Canada.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?
We approached Signature to create authentic video testimonials that showed our members’ experience working with us. We wanted our testimonials to feel fresh, modern, and reflective of our members.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Signature guided us through the entire video production process. First, we met to discuss our objectives, and Signature executed a plan for the testimonials. They were responsible for the whole creative process, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, and coordinating the video shoot. 

During the video shoot, they filmed our members talking about their experiences with us and how our organization helped them over the last few years and during the COVID-19 pandemic. After they filmed the testimonials, they began the editing process, including audio mixing and sound design. 

In total, they created 13 video testimonials, spanning between 60–90 seconds, which we used as multimedia assets for our live convention. Aside from the testimonials, Signature made three informational videos to help us open the event. Since working with Signature, we’ve used testimonials to support our recruitment and marketing initiatives.

We worked with Signature between April–August 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re thrilled with the results and feel the project was exceptionally successful. Our primary goal was to generate dynamic and fresh video content for the live event, and Signature helped us do so. 

We showcased the videos Signature produced at our live event and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Our attendees were excited by the videos, and many requested copies to post on their social media accounts. 

We’ve just started using the videos as promotional material for our recruitment and marketing initiatives, so we don’t have hard metrics yet. We look forward to seeing how the videos affect our website and social media traffic.

Signature is one of the best organizations I’ve ever worked with. They were excellent project managers and paid close attention to detail. I also appreciated their transparency around the budget. They communicated effectively via phone and text and provided weekly status updates via email. We also met via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and in person.

I was impressed with Signature’s creative energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm. They were equally invested in the project as we were and dedicated significant effort to help us meet our goals. The team consistently listened to us and refined their plans leading up to the video shoot to ensure we met our objectives. Even though there’s always room for improvement, I think Signature did a great job on every front.
