We needed help building a team to take care of the tests of Android builds on a virtual target using CuttleFish.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sii Poland has built a team that takes care of the tests of Android builds on a virtual target. The team’s goals are to investigate technical possibilities, define test methods and tools, implement and maintain the toolchain, and execute different types of tests on servers. Overall, Sii Poland is responsible for the whole process, from developing and adopting tools to designing, creating, and executing automated tests to reporting the test results.

We work with 10 teammates from Sii Poland.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been able to hundreds of test cases for system tests including feature testing, smoke tests, merge gating, regression. Maintain pipelines for CI/CD.  Sii Poland team did many technical investigation, has created whole testing tool chain, hundreds of test cases for system tests including feature testing, smoke tests, merge gating, regression. Sii Poland team create and maintain pipelines for CI/CD.

We mainly communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

As Lead Test Manager Digital Ecosystem, I had the opportunity to functionally manage the SII team. They consistently demonstrated professionalism and a structured approach to their work. Even when provided with raw inputs, they enhanced them thoughtfully to meet the exact requirements. The team combined strong technical skills with a friendly attitude and a collaborative spirit, which played a key role in successfully achieving several challenging goals on time. Given the chance, I would gladly choose to work with the same team again.
