Goals for this project was to create a unique B2B solution for ordering by stores and supermarkets of company products through a network of distributors in Ukraine

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Softensy has created a unique B2B solution for processing IDS products from stores and supermarkets through a network of distributors in Ukraine. The project was successfully implemented in the form of a created site and mobile applications on the Android and IOS platforms, according to the corporate design of the company, integration with customer and distributor accounting systems by exchanging data via API.

What was the team composition?

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project helped introduce a new sales channel for products, excluding employees from the process. Shops and supermarkets were able to make an order themselves, without a sales representative and a contact center. The created website and applications have reduced transport costs for the movement of sales representatives, salaries and communication costs

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was organized correctly. Each day we had skype meeting or call with developers, each call was protocolled, it's very important for us. So they have a very efficient way of communicating with us and always assign the right team members to our project

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive things for me were timelines, quality, the coherence of the team and their creative approach to implementation and design. For now, this is a rare occurrence in the IT sector, and this is a huge plus in the work with Softensy

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wish that the Softensy don't stop, constantly grow and develop, as it is now

I’m the COO at Agrocom. We are a large agricultural enterprise in Western Europe since 1997.

For what projects/services did your company hire Softensy?

Project-Agrovod. Service - developing our own BPM system. We hired Softensy to automate the entire harvest process, in a short time.

What were your goals for this project?

1. The main goal is to control the harvest process remotely from the web or mobile phone.
2. Reduce costs for a team that serves electronic weights.
3. Organize a unified system for the transfer and storage of documents, instead of obsolete paper catalogs.
4. Online analytics.
5. Monitoring received and spent resources.

How did you select this vendor?

One of my colleagues referred us to Softensy. They had a lot of expertise in developing BPM and ERP systems. So we have a few meeting and decided that we needed, so we selected them.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Softensy provided us technical description, technical consultation, business consultation, software development, design and cloud service configuration. The first iteration was the inception, after that, we moved to plan of development and interactive design mockups.

After some changes and approve everything we start to develop on Scrum. Every two weeks we received new features and made some changes in current once. The development process kept smooth and in time.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We have completely switched to a digital harvesting system. We finalized the ERP and organized the whole process in accordance with the new BMP.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was professional. All deadlines were without lag. We communicate each day by skype, phone and had a few meets in our company. For task management we used Jira. Thanks, Serge for this.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They met all of our deadlines and created a high-quality project. These two points were the most important to release Agrovod in time.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would like to speed up the workflow at signing the documents, it's not critical but this bureaucratic problem concerns all companies in our country.

I’m the head of alternative sales at Ecobank. We’re a reliable, dynamic bank with more than 25 years in the finance market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Softensy?

We’ve engaged Softensy to realize a set of digital banking systems. This includes internet and mobile banking apps for end clients, administrative and CRM interfaces for our staff, and a mobile office app for our bank employees to provide on-site services.

What were your goals for this project?

Because we started with zero online presence, our initial objective was to digitally transform our offerings by launching essential web and mobile banking services within a short timeframe.

Our current goal is to increase our customer loyalty and customer lifetime value (CLV) through a range of banking products and related services. We hope to implement personalized interfaces and harness technology for marketing and customer services activities.

One of my colleagues referred us to Softensy. They had a lot of expertise that we needed, so we selected them.

Describe the project in detail.

They initially developed our first builds of our mobile banking system (e.g., web, iOS, and Android apps) within three months. The goal was to launch our core services as soon as possible, which included a balance overview, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, card limit installation, card blocking/unblocking, agencies, and ATM data. 

Within the year, they then developed new, more modern designs and implemented additional functions based on client feedback. The internet and mobile apps now offer clients P2P money transfers, transaction histories, mobile replenishment, payment requisitions, and payment templates.

As for the bank-facing solutions, the administrative interfaces let operators and moderators provide data-powered customer support. The CRM helps banks get to know their clients and upsell bank products effectively.

What was the team composition?

The team consists of a team lead, a business analyst, an architect, a DevOps specialist, a UX/UX designer, a senior frontend developer using React, and senior and mid-level backend developers using Java. They also provided a mid-level android developer using Kotlin and a mid-level iOS developer using Swift.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After launching the first build, we gained more than 100,000 mobile users within six months. This allowed us to break even and become profitable in about a year. We still rely on them for additional development and support.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have weekly meetings led by their delivery director and business analyst to discuss the current project dynamic. They help us analyze the work we’ve completed as well as plan for further goals.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most important thing for us was that we didn’t exceed the budget nor the timeline. Softensy stuck to the schedule across all tasks and ensured that we remained within our cost limits.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, I can’t think of anything. They’re still working with us on this project, and we predict that it won’t be the last project we have with them.

At the time, we had a limited online presence, and we were hoping to launch a full suite of mobile banking services and products. Our goal was to modernize our company, increase client loyalty, and improve our customer service through personalization.

Describe the project in detail.

They first created backend architecture to streamline their development on our servers. When the backend environment was completed, we moved to a design phase where we discussed key features. They built and tested a mobile app, an admin interface, and a CRM.

The mobile app offers P2P money transfers, transaction history, payment templates, and request forms. The administrative interface provides data analysis for customer support, and the CRM generates lead and informs customers about our products.

Their team provides ongoing maintenance and support for each platform.

What was the team composition?

The team included two backend developers, two frontend developers, a senior mobile developer, a junior iOS developer, a junior Android developer, a senior full-stack developer, a DevOps engineer, a systems architect, a QA specialist, a business analyst, and a team leader.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app was downloaded 100,000 times in 6 months. Since launching these platforms, we’ve seen a growth in revenue, along with increased customer loyalty.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication with their team is simple and straightforward. During development, we tracked project tasks using Jira and held weekly conference calls. We also had biweekly demo meetings where Softensy’s delivery director would discuss project dynamics, development progress, and feature details.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They kept development within our cost limits and stayed true to our project timelines.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They don’t need to make any changes. We’re continuing to work with their team, and I doubt that this will be our final project with them.
