I'm the CEO and founder of Rendez, a social networking app that helps users meet new people organically by connecting them through shared events or real-time check-ins at popular locations, making it easy to form meaningful connections in person.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with techindustan Solutions?

We needed to get our app and admin dashboard ready for launch and we were held up by App Store requirements & approvals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

techindustan Solutions has worked on addressing the App Store requirements for submission, setting up staging and production servers, and optimizing and reducing spending on AWS. The team has also successfully challenged the App Store regarding the app's age requirement for users. The App Store said we couldn't ask for age, but our product is meant for people 18+ for safety reasons. techindustan Solutions has been able to successfully address and remove the App Store's requirement. The team has also been able to successfully remove the iPad requirements for the app so that we're now only iPhone, which is a huge relief.

We work with more than five team members from techindustan Solutions.

I found them through Upwork. I enjoyed their candor and professionalism in our first call. I also researched them and the other candidates on Glassdoor to see how happy (or not) their employees were. What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in March 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've been able to launch and manage the platform via the admin dashboard. We've also seen app stability and user experience improvements. The admin dashboard allows us to publish events in the app and manage reporting (with the correct output).

techindustan Solutions's project management is thoughtful, kind, friendly, thorough, patient, and collaborative. We communicate via weekly calls, Slack, email, project management tools, and Google Suite.
