I'm the founder and creator of the first advertising page for NFTs, Mintedgem - 1001 Squares of NFT.

For what projects/services did your company hire Twendee Software Company, and what were your goals?

We hired Twendee to develop our core product, mintedgem.com, from scratch to finish. Our goal was to build a very complete MVP in a short time frame that also followed the behavior and expectations of NFT consumers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After extensively looking for blockchain software development teams for hire in countries like Ukraine, Portugal, and India, I was recommended by someone to try finding a company Vietnam for their experienced personnel and lower service cost in comparison to companies in Europe/America. I contacted a couple vendors on the Clutch page for Vietnam Blockchain Software Development, and Twendee stood out for having the most prompt reply, the nicest attendance, the best English-speaking skills, the quickest time-to-quote, and the best price. They made it an easy choice.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The aim was to create a filterable list of 1001 NFTs that allows users to add NFTs through an NFT URL to a specific position of the page based on their amount paid per day through a smart contract. A mini map of the 1001 Squares was also created that updates whenever a new NFT gets added. Additionally, a user profile was created with NFT controls, notifications, settings, and a seemless user login experience through connecting a Web3 wallet.

The stack used was AWS, NodeJS (TypeScript), React JS, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, SES + client. In terms of Blockchain, smart contracts were deployed on Ethereum, Polygon, FTM, AVAX, Binance SmartChain, and the wallet softwares integrated were Metamask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase Wallet. The 3rd party services used included KYT and CoinMarketCap for providing USD$ conversion rates.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The initial team size was of 6, but there was up to 9 collaborators from the vendor's side who collaborated on the project. The positions included 2 Web Developers (BE/FE), a Blockchain Developer, a PM/BA, and a QA.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I was pleased that deliverables were presented according to the design and functionalities which were asked for. During the project's development, there were issues found unspecified, and Twendee staff was topnotch to give us the needed options, solutions, or recommendations for such problems. This help and leadership from Twendee when it came to solving unforeseen problems, led to less time wasted with inappropriate solutions, and a better project than originally planned.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management style was clear and concise from the start, letting us know of how the sprints would be organized. Our most common tool of communication was Telegram, and also email. Communication was clear, fast, and always helpful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with how far Twendee is willing to go to satisfy their customers. I felt like they truly cared about the success of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think there's little room for improvement. If I had to pick something, I'd say that when requesting additional service hours for new features, the price was usually missing from that sheet, so the customer would have to check through emails to check what price Twendee is practicing for Development and QA. It'd be better to keep this handy on the sheet with the requested hours for the customer.
