The scope of work for Viva was wide and varied, and over time they worked with us on everything from helping to develop and then deliver their own scope of work.  The services they provided ranged from architecture to integration of third party service through to custom build of functionality to provide services that have never been built before.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We worked with Viva from the creation of our business through to now and plan to continue working with them as we scale more.  They worked with us from abstract concepts through to hard deliverables against very specific deliverables, integrating our platform with major third party services from AWS and Azure through to platforms we integrate with like TikTok, Shopee, YouTube and Meta.  Our platform now analyzes millions of hoiurs of live video across hundreds of clients and the back end tools required to do this were put together by the team at Viva.

Viva have worked with us as a partner who have grown their team and support with us as our needs have evolved.  It has been a collaborative approach and their support has been invaluable.  They are a realistic team who have supported us through different stages of our business and we have worked with them as an integrated partner.

Once in an established rhythm their project management and client management has been solid, especially given we have been working on platforms and requirements that have not previously existed and where there are no examples of systems doing what we wanted to do.

When timing or deliverables have been challenging they have comunicated with us up front that timeframes may need to be adjusted, making sure expectations and reality are managed.  They are pragmatic, honest and trustworthy, and those attributes are why we continue to work with them and plan to do so moving forward.

The first database already existed without much documentation, so the team has stepped in, taken over, and dealt with the open tasks. In parallel, Vivasoft Limited has developed an easier-to-maintain database in React and SQL. The team has also integrated a third-party data provider.

Since our collaboration is ongoing, the outcomes are best measured in terms of milestones achieved rather than final results. Vivasoft Limited has successfully delivered working ATS integrations, improved the stability and scalability of our data pipelines, and accelerated our overall development velocity. These contributions have allowed us to release new features to customers faster and ensure that Mondea continues to evolve in line with our roadmap.

Vivasoft Limited was engaged from 'Day 1' to provide services in scaling klikit.  With their expertise we have been able to accomplish incredible things - launching our MVP in just three (3) months from the contract start - to now being live across seven separate geographies and millions of orders.  

Initially we worked to devise the product that met basic customer requirements, but at the same time the team at Vivasoft were instrumental to ensuring we followed Engineering 'Best Practices' early - which has ensured both our stability and scalability in the years that followed.  

We have been delighted to work with them on this project, and will continue to keep them as advisors as we continue to grow.

Since we started with Vivasoft we've been able to scale our platform and product to handle millions of real-time transactions on an annualised basis across seven separate geographies - each requiring their own nuanced approach to integrations that were needed to make it successful.

We are well on track to creating something truly amazing and none of it would have been possible without the help - and partnership of Vivasoft.

Vivasoft was always timely in delivery, and were regular communicators about the status of the project and the requirements that needed to be met.  We used a combination of emails, virtual meetings and Slack to ensure close coordination with our teams on the ground - translating feedback from our markets into real product insights and services.

The expertise of the developers working at Vivasoft is truly top-notch.  They have a number of gifted individuals, which work even better together in teams.  This is rare from software agencies who are notorious for pairing developers that don't fit well together - but at Vivasoft, everyone is closely connected and they have an amazing culture that resonated with ours.

Vivasoft really works with you as if they too are part of the 'startup journey' with you as a Founder.  This is because the owners are both seasoned entrepreneurs themselves, and if they work with you - there is a real sense of belief in you and your business.  This might not be for everyone, but if it sounds like something you're interested in - don't hestiate to reach out.

• event management system to enable members to create an online or offline event, join an event or cancel from an event

• Vivasoft have continued with the development phase but have gone above and beyond by engaging a broader team to get further input. The project team is always adapting to the changing needs of the project as different experience is required to problem solve.

Vivasoft have been very responsible to our needs and changing needs over time. Due to our iterative approach, they have been quick to adapt to changes and respond quickly when bugs have been found. As the founder, I have limited web development experience and it took me time to know what I was doing. They were very respectful and adaptive to my needs as a partner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Really appreciated their willingness to make suggestions and pre-empt what was required (given my limited technical knowledge). They were very responsive and we have built a very positive working relationship from the co-founders of Vivasoft through to their team. It has been a pleasure working with them, despite some stressful times where they have worked long-hours and long weeks to get the project milestone delivered.
How did your relationship with your partner evolve?: 

We've continued to strengthen our relationship with Vivasoft over the last few years working together on Wellteam. Their team have become a bit like family and we've loved watching the company evolve.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Vivasoft Limited could have done differently?
When we first started building Wellteam, we were using Trello. Due to my limited technical knowledge, much of the project detail was foreign to me. This left me confused at the start until we resolved to use Miro as a visual way of communicating my needs and ideas in non-technical language. It may have been of benefit to begin using Miro or a more non-technical tool to start with and may have saved time and frustration on their behalf initially.
Software dev and IT is a constantly evolving space that's rapidly changing. From what we see, they're always aiming to improve their process and practices. We've been the beneficiaries of that with a new QA person now embedded into our team.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

If you need a cost effective solution to build out your software / web dev project then Vivasoft should be on your shortlist. They're great to work with and have a highly engaged team who love a challenge. We love working them.
