I have been working with zoondia for a long time and I wouldn't go to look for other companies. They are the best and they show in every project I work with them.

I am always in contact with a project manager, Arun, that is one of the best profesionals I have ever worked with.

I’m the co-founder of an events and activity booking startup that’s based in Doha, Qatar.

What challenge were you trying to address with ZOONDIA?

We needed a team of development experts to build a platform that we envisioned.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an innovative idea for an events and activity booking platform that ZOONDIA is helping us conceptualize and build. We initially discussed our requirements and after listening to their feedback, we decided to develop this app on iOS and on Android — it was too good of a deal not to consider. We provided the original wireframes, but their team provided us with front- and backend development and design.

For our social media efforts, we first communicated our ideas on the type of content we want to publish and from there, they generate the content, design the visuals, and send them to us for approval. 

Most of the work on the app is done and all that we have left are minor adjustments. We’re looking to launch the platform within a couple of months.

What is the team composition?

We mainly communicate with the head of business development, and as the partnership progressed, we started connecting with their iOS, Android, and web developers.

How did you come to work with ZOONDIA?

My co-founders and I started researching and contacting development companies around the world. We eventually came across ZOONDIA and after reviewing their website, we thought that they were experts in the field because they offer a lot of development solutions. We arranged a meeting, discussed the pricing, talked about our idea, then after looking at all our offers, we made the decision to go with ZOONDIA.

They met our budget, understood our requirements, and the initial communication with them was very easy, so we felt confident signing the contract.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent about $50,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in September 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can’t think of any specific success metric because we haven’t launched the app yet, and we didn’t decide on a specific deadline. However, they did meet all of our initial requirements in the span of nine months. We’ve never experienced any crashes except for one instance when we couldn’t launch the app but within an hour, they were able to fix all the problems that caused it.

They’re quick to implement any necessary changes and fixes to the build, and that’s something my co-founders and I find impressive.

How did ZOONDIA perform from a project management standpoint?

We never really had a specific deadline for the project as a whole, but the app build and design had their own respective deadlines which were all appropriately met. We never really had a reason to ask a lot of follow-ups or revisions, so they were very professional from that perspective.

When we do need revisions, they’re always able to provide them within a day or two depending on the complexity. We meet once every two weeks through Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with the way they manage our ideas, no matter how complex they are. They just seamlessly connected the different components together to create a simple, intuitive, and powerful product. Another thing I find impressive is their persistence in sending us updates and revisions to provide us with exactly what we want.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of something they could improve on. At first, I thought the time zone difference was going to be an issue, but they were able to compensate throughout the partnership and that’s something we really appreciate.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My co-founders and I had a very specific vision and clear idea of what we wanted for the platform, so I believe that’s the most important thing to consider when approaching a development company. I suggest being clear with your ideas and what you want your business to achieve to get the most out of the engagement.

I am very satisfied with their competence and ability to think around solving issues and coming out with solutions for both technical and business functionality

With communicated primarily via ASANA Project for assigning tasks, activities, reporting issues. We also worked via email and share team documents including a weekly video project update meeting.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to work around and solving issues that were highly technical. But at the same time have a keen understanding of the business requirements and implications.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Having to work during the COVOID-19 pandemic needed a lot of flexibility and a decision to postpone the business launch. It would have been much more efficient without COVID-19 restrictions and consiuderations.
