They were committed to staying on the project through all the iterations. They sent a team to be with us for 10 days to make sure everything was working right. When issues came up, they were there to see for themselves and were able to send those problems back to India. By the next morning, everything would be fixed and ready to test again. With app building, there are a lot of challenges that come up, but anytime we had a challenge, they were committed to completing the project. They were working late hours to stay on target with the schedule.

Lucid were amazing at project management. They were responsive, and we felt like we were their only clients. We are in different time zones but they would get back to us quickly even outside of their business hours, usually providing responses within minutes. We set up a group chat on instant messenger, and that was our main way of communicating. Outside of that, we had emails and standing weekly calls for half an hour to raise issues and check in on progress. They were determined to meet our deadline — they worked late and weekends to try and make things happen.

We use Jira for tracking. They charge us for story points and not for hours spent. We make estimates before scrum sprints, and they give us estimates. The risk is on their side if they can’t cover something. We’re working through a nine-hour time difference, so it’s better to send them requests during our mornings. This led to some issues, but we’ve been able to handle them. We’ve fixed any issues as they’ve arisen, usually within 1–2 weeks. They’ve always been responsive to my feedback.
