We wanted to create a visualization of our properties and apartments, so they handled 3D modeling and visualization.

They provided us with video production services, showcasing our apartments through visualization and 3D modeling. The engagement started with a storyboarding process. Later, they got into animations and rending of models. They created everything from scratch.

We worked together from May–September 2019. The project took about three months to complete.

They used the right tools to execute this complex project on a quick timeline. Their team listened to our feedback and was flexible about making changes to their work.  

How did CRFT Video perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very organized and provided great communication with our team. To keep the project on track, they would regularly send us screens of their progress. We used Slack to communicate between teams. Their project manager was available to us 24/7. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were creative and had the skill sets to make the project easy on our end.

I can’t think of any areas for improvement. There’s a time zone difference, but that’s fine.

We were looking for a simple and flat animation style. Focused on explaining our slightly complicated services in the easy to understand kind of way.

At the beginning of the project they sent us a first raw script and style frames. CRFT took over step by step. From character design, infographics to the storyboard. And finally, after some minor inputs from our side, the final animation including a voice over and a music was delivered. The process was exactly as planned and suspected.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We were assigned a project manager to serve as the main point of contact. This was very convenient and showed the professionalism of the animation studio.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are currently in the process of sending it out. We have gotten great feedback from our staff on the quality and professionalism of the video.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very efficient. They were very quick to answer questions, respond to us, and adjust to changes.

Professionalism and workflow. CRFT uses tools like Boords, Syncsketch that made it easier for me and my team to give our comments. There's a clear project timeline and they always delivered on time.

We went through multiple freelancers & studios to make a decision and CRFT Video is selected because of their rich portfolio and also team capabilities.

After defining our target audience, messaging, duration, and goal of the video we worked on the script and the storyboard together. After that, we reviewed the storyboards of the animation they had created and submitted our feedback and reviews. Next, we received the animation to see how the transitions looked. After some the voice over was approved we received the final video.

We primarily worked with one contact who collaborated with his team to produce the product.

We don't have any specific metrics that illustrate the impact of the video, but we have received very positive feedback on it

Our project manager was very professional and a very accessible communicator. He quickly responded to questions, helped us to keep on schedule, and worked hard to make sure we received the video we were looking for.

It was very effective, because all communication was through Slack and a special platform Boards, I can see progress on work there, as well as all comments and feedback, it was very easy to use. Also all deadlines were met. The team is well-organized and responsive.

We sent them a script , a color palette, guidelines, some visual concepts as well as references of the videos we liked. Then we scheduled a kick-off call with them. They informed us about each stage of the production process. We started from the storyboarding and draft illustrations. We provided feedback to CRFT Video in every step of the process and they showed great level of professionalism. They understood the idea of the project and provided a number of ideas we could use to visually show our audience the ideas we wanted to convey to them.

CRFT divided the project into four stages and kept us involved throughout. During each step, they submitted their work for approval and incorporated our feedback. The team then animated the final product and delivered it as an MP4 file.

We used a third-party program for managing the project. All assets, notes, meetings, and creatives were stored online. Their communication was very clear, and it was effortless to reach them when questions did arise.

Our client was really happy with the quality of the storyboarding, animation, sound, and overall product. They were really quick to make changes, and they often provided updates within 24 hours.

Their communication was perfect, and they were really fast. They sent frequent follow-ups to speed up the project and keep the project on track. They have a strong workflow.

They sent me the script for review and we had a couple of edits until we reached our final version.
