Deliverables were not associated with any specific company KPIs.

Their developer attended our team's daily stand-up and was always on time. They also provided an account manager to handle administration and feedback. They were very responsive, even though there was a significant time difference.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very professional and easy to work with. They ask for feedback often, making strides to incorporate feedback in our day-to-day collaboration.

It is difficult for me to give numbers. Since Nick N.'s team did not do the marketing of the project. But the created CRM system allowed us to quickly and efficiently plan advertising campaigns and improved our sales by 60% due to high-quality analytics

This was the most effective experience of cooperation with IT firms. All work issues were resolved professionally and comfortably.

Attitude and friendliness, professionalism and respect for the customer. This is very surprising, since the team of this company was very young.

BACKGROUND

My company is just a 5 person company with most people focused on marketing and content creation. We do a software for HR to measure engagement and performance. 

I am the CEO and when we were just started, Do IT helped us build our first product. I had no engineer responsible in the beginning, and they helped a lot.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

The HR-Tech world is growing, and we were trying to do HR data analytics. It was big market, specially in Japan, where big corporations are willing to spend money on it. But, we weren't that successful in that project since we noticed that our product was not creating much value. People would see the data but would not understand what to do with it.  

Instead, we pivoted and moved into a new field in HR, focusing more on training. 

SOLUTION

I found Do IT on Upwork and they were really helpful. Their manager's communication abilities were quite good and their suport speed also quite fast.

The scope with them was just development. I gave them specifications and design and they would code and release. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

I would give them an 80-point score out of 100 on that project. 

The biggest problem I had was the lack of testing. We were finding too many bugs and fixing them would go over the time estimation.
