What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although it typically takes about six months to see results from SEO and content-based marketing, we have already begun to generate website traffic and leads. Large companies have expressed interest in our services; if we win just one account bid, we will see a high ROI for WebFX. Long-term content has generated click-throughs.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

WebFX is very engaged and willing to extend the project scope as needed. For instance, they reset all of our directory passwords, which saved my team time. Colton coordinates their whole team. We receive multiple daily emails.

WebFX deploys Basecamp, which shows our project on a calendar and details which aspect of our project that each WebFX team is working on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Even though we are a small company on a tight budget, WebFX treats us with the same respect as a large company. They offer a wide range of services, from huge national SEO to local content-marketing, the latter of which we use. Their team educates and trains my team at every step. They’ve gone above and beyond to show us how specific AI tools work, such as a tool that tracks our website traffic and that of our competitors. The insights that we gain from these tools drive our strategy.

WebFX’s team provides sage advice but ultimately allows us to make decisions.  We are very pleased with the results thus far. Communication is a strong point.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, none that I can think of.

Any advice for potential customers?

If you are a smaller company and do not think you can afford high-quality digital marketing, give WebFX a try. My first conversation with WebFX was very enlightening and gave me new ideas about what I wanted to do with our strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

WebFX developed a standard WordPress site with a menu bar and subpages. Users can navigate through the website, filling out our contact form and signing up for our email distribution list. To drive traffic, they created pop-ups that appear throughout the site that convince users to sign up. Their team set up integration with MailChimp and write all of our email content. They researched topics to write about, and we provided them with input. WebFX also helps with search. They craft keywords, and we give them approval. From a strategy standpoint, their team suggested we stop using Google Ads and focus on organic search. We’re a small company in a competitive market with billion-dollar organizations. We plan on using our savings from Google Ads to go into other services they offer.

We’ve had about three account managers since we started working with them. Jordan (Internet Marketing Analyst, WebFX) is our current account manager.

I wasn’t involved in this process.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Due to changes on the website, we experienced an increase in signups. We’re paying more now, but if we receive a new client, it pays for years of WebFX’s service. With every report, we’ve seen a substantial increase in traffic. Year after year, there’s been a monthly increase of 70%–80%.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

All of their communication is done through Basecamp, and all of the reporting is done through Google Data Studio. We can effectively communicate and visualize our results using those tools. They’re excellent at staying on top of everything. We’ve had no complaints about any of the account managers we’ve worked with. Jordan is consistent and helpful. We have a monthly call scheduled. I asked him to set deadlines for us when they need our feedback. He makes sure everyone does their job, even us, effectively. Jordan adjusted how he works with us, based on how we work back with him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

WebFX works hard to take time off of me. Jordan is a pleasure to work with. He’s organized and kind. WebFX cares about improving our business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think they’re doing an excellent job. I review and look for a price or service benchmark every few years, and they seem to be competitive. I don’t think there’s anything that I would suggest as far as what they’re doing with us. I can’t comment on the other services they perform.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s helpful to set up an expectation level with the account manager, regarding how much the client should be involved. WebFX will know what to expect and will adjust their schedule and timing accordingly.

I’m a marketing specialist at a medical device manufacturer that produces lasers for things like pain management and fat loss. I work with branding and advertising as well as directly with some of our clients.

SEO and paid ads are also part of their work, which incorporates keyword research and content creation.  Most of the work is on Google Ads, and WebFX guides the internal team on how to improve the websites and SEO functionality.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Throughout the process, WebFX has been easy to work with. About a month and a half ago, we launched the site. It’s working well, and our membership is pleased to see that the defined resources are easily accessible. Visitors to those pages increased within the first month of launch. The website tells our story cohesively now. Their team was able to understand our story as an organization and provided the best practices. Since we just started using them for SEO, we’re hoping to see improvements with Google Ads and other search elements. We’re happy with what we see so far.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Their transparency regarding the scope of work made them great to work with. WebFX is communicative, keeping us updated on each phase of the project. We have a weekly phone call and use Basecamp or email for everything else.

What did you find most impressive about them?

WebFX is solution-oriented. Vendors we’ve worked with in the past were more reactive than proactive. Their team came to the table with different options and practices that we were able to go back to our team with and decide upon. They constantly provide support.

I think what makes our partnership amazing was that we were organized going into it, which helped their team understand our goals moving forward. Clients should know where they’re headed to help WebFX give the best options to make goals a reality.

We researched multiple companies, but WebFX drew us in with their design capabilities, large portfolios, and reviews from established clients. Their team’s response and communication also impressed us.

WebFX first assisted with SSL integration and migrating our old site to a new host before the main project. Throughout several meetings, we discussed our long list of requirements and our design direction thoroughly. After gathering our requirements, WebFX delivered a design for us to review. Each party documented tweaks and requests carefully to track outstanding work and see each request’s status. WebFX then interpreted our redesign requirements, coded the design, and built the final sites using Wordpress. Their team also implemented SEO.

We first had a dedicated staff member who answered pre-sales questions. WebFX has since assigned us a project manager and an internet marketer.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project has run smoothly since the beginning. WebFX communicates well and is easy to work with. They support our desire to work quickly and efficiently. The project manager has stayed with our project for its entire duration, while the internet marketer is very friendly and responsive whenever we have questions. We use Basecamp to manage the project and to communicate between teams. We also collaborate via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We value their professionalism and approachability throughout the engagement. They provide constant and clear communication as well as realistic and honest expectations, which is refreshing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, we’ve had a superb working relationship with very few hiccups. On occasion, some invoices need correcting, but they are small errors that WebFX quickly fixes.

I’m the marketing director for Maryland Sunrooms. We build sunrooms, additions, patio covers, and enclosures. We've been in business for 20 years and are a top-rated company in our field.

I have an IT background, but couldn’t act as our marketing director, event coordinator, and webmaster. I needed another company to help save me time and manage our SEO content so it kept up with Google Analytics.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They fixed links and updated our map and content. The majority of our site was already in place, but we needed to bring it back up to date. The biggest part of our work together involves SEO and PPC campaigns. They updated all our keywords, long forms, content, and blogs, and we just implemented a chat window to attract users who would rather not use the phone. As soon as we asked for that feature, they provided everything we needed, including FAQs and all the research to support it.

We have one main point of contact who acts as our project manager. He makes day to day changes but also collaborates with a development team for larger projects.

We spend $500-$1,000 dollars per month on their services, not including ad spending. As a construction company, we tend to scale back over the winter.

We had a bit of a dry month right after we made changes, but that’s normal for SEO. We were also targeting a more precise clientele. Our traffic has picked back up, and our qualified leads have improved. We’re up about 200%, and our bounce rate is down.

They’re amazing project managers, and are one of the best companies I’ve worked with in 15 years. They are always on time, and they keep a calendar function where all our projects and deadlines are set. I’m always in contact with them, and they’re better than any other company I’ve worked with. They operate like an employee of our company, and I’m really impressed by their process. We use Basecamp, email, and phone to communicate.

Communication and project completion are two places they excel. They always deliver the results they promise.

I can’t think of anything they should improve. I’ve filled out other reviews that required information on improvements, and I had trouble finding anything that would qualify.

Contact them sooner instead of later. The only way to get good leads in this market is to improve your search rankings, and working with WebFX will only benefit your company. The sooner you start campaigns with them, the faster you will see results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

WebFX provides SEO and link building for our site. The team has provided keyword research, but we already have a good grasp on which industries and areas use our products. Their research has served more as food for thought to increase our keyword list and our overall effectiveness. They use Google Analytics and a few other software products to explain their processes to us.

The team also creates videos and micrographics. In addition, when our site was hacked, WebFX helped restore its appearance and functionality. As an expansion on our original scope, they now provide security patches for our server and free site recovery services in case a hack occurs again.

They've definitely added to the ease of our UI, and we've seen an increase in traffic. We wanted to market outside of our state, which they helped us achieve through blogs and other channels. We've had inquiries and a ton of traffic from outside our local area.

They used Basecamp but didn’t require us to use it. Any email correspondence we send feeds into their channels, and we can continue to use our internal systems. There is a monthly calendar, and they plan a couple of months in advance to optimize our site.

They’re very organized, and I never have to worry that they are completing tasks. They always take the initiative, set meetings, and finish everything we ask them to.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're so organized, and their trustworthiness is life-changing. I never have to micromanage them, and they always go above and beyond our requirements. They’re also honest about their capabilities, and they offer quotes for extra work outside the scope of the contract. They know our business very well, and they feel like a member of our internal team.

I don't have any improvements or suggestions for how they could serve us better; they’re a good company to work with.

Be as invested as they are. They took time to educate themselves, know our business, figure out what works best. They were excited about working with us because we were engaged and passionate about the project. The more engaged you can be, the better your collaboration.

Given the nature of SEO and PPC, results can feel slow moving, but we’ve already seen progress in the team’s performance and our partnership. I’ve never questioned my choice in hiring them; we see eye to eye. I have weekly phone calls with the account manager.
